Link of BCG Vaccination with fewer Coronavirus cases

Countries which have used BCG vaccination have a 10 times lower death rate from COVID-19,Compare to those who haven’t,a new study has shown,The Economic Times repoted
The research found that countries without universal policies of BCG vaccination, such as Italy, the Netherlands, and the United States, have been more severely affected compared to countries with universal and long-standing BCG policies," noted the researchers led by Gonzalo Otazu, assistant professor of biomedical sciences at NYIT.

BCG VACCINATION HISTORY

BCG-Bacillus Calmette-Guerin is a vaccine used against Tuberculosis(TB).It is developed by French bacteriologists Albert Calmette and Camille Guerin.

This vaccine is given to the infants and young children,the vaccine provides immunity that protects infants and young children from tuberculosis.
